ADULT EDUCATION

The Adult Education Committee invites all to a series of lectures and discussions this year covering all aspects of Jewish life, current events, history, and environmental issues. In addition, we will be working with the Israel Connection group to develop a lecture program on the challenges facing Israel. Many of the programs are scheduled on Sunday mornings with brunch so that parents of Religious School students can easily attend.

BIKKUR CHOLIM

Bikkur Cholim is the Outreach Committee of our Synagogue. The members of the Committee shall keep informed of all congregants who become sick, communicate with them, visit them at home and in the hospital and other health care facilities, and provide appropriate support and care for them.

HOUSE

The duties of the Synagogue House Committee are to take care of the day-to-day maintenance of the Synagogue building.  Hyime Paley, Chairman, would like to create a volunteer crew to help with things that do not require professional expertise, i.e. minor repairs, change light bulbs, gardening, etc.  He is in the Synagogue each day and, as an owner of a commercial building, is familiar with maintenance concerns.
